Hi, I’m Pamela.
I’m running for State Senate to represent all Utahns, not a party platform. Our legislature has lost its way, choosing to engage in performative culture wars and power grabs at the expense of the real issues facing our state. I’m running to be an independent voice—YOUR voice—and to get our state back on track.
Like most of us, I’m tired of the political extremism that has permeated every part of government, from the presidency to the state legislature and even to elections for city council. We need representatives that seek for solutions instead of talking points, and who are willing to take the challenges we face head on.
We’re all dealing with soaring housing prices, expensive groceries, and a legislature that has shown it is willing to raise taxes even higher on gas, food, and services.
It’s time we send an independent voice to Capitol Hill.
The legislature, including my opponent, has consistently tried to restrict your rights—the right to vote, the right to choose your representatives, and now your right to organize and put legislation on the ballot for the People to vote on. It’s time to restore your right to self-government!
Utah’s education system faces challenges: vouchers drain public schools, teacher pay lags, and zip codes dictate funding. We need to prioritize students by investing in public education, ensuring competitive salaries, and tackling systemic inequalities. Let’s build a future where every child, regardless of background, thrives.
Our tax system should be fair, not a burden on middle-class families and small businesses. Let’s cut unnecessary spending and invest in infrastructure and education, creating jobs and driving economic growth for all Utahns. I’ll work to find common ground on fiscal issues, ensuring a strong and sustainable future for Utah.
My opponent voted to increase taxes on food, gas, and services. I worked on the referendum to repeal it. We won that battle. Let’s make sure we don’t send the same people back to Capitol Hill to make the same mistakes.
Our communities know best. Let’s empower Utah’s cities and towns to tackle local challenges with solutions made in their own backyards, not dictated from afar. Local control fosters innovation, responsiveness, and a stronger sense of community. Local control comes with responsibility. Let’s foster dialogue and cooperation between state and local governments to ensure effective governance that meets the needs of all Utahns, urban and rural alike.
Our differences are our strengths, not our divisions. Let’s lift each other up, dismantle prejudice, and champion equal rights for all. Let’s join hands, raise our voices, and create a Utah where justice and opportunity flow freely for every single person.
From affordable childcare to accessible healthcare, strong families are the backbone of a thriving society. Let’s invest in policies that empower all families, regardless of structure or background, to reach their full potential. Let’s create a future where every child feels cherished and every caregiver thrives.
Children playing outside, seniors taking walks – everyone deserves clean air. We can build a Utah where healthy lungs aren’t a privilege, but a common right. Join the fight for clear skies and healthy lives. Breathe easy. Let’s rise above the haze and create a future where every lungful is a gift, not a risk. Invest in clean air for a healthier, happier Utah.
I’ve seen firsthand how rising housing costs strain family budgets and make it harder for people to achieve stability. I’m committed to advocating for policies that promote affordable housing and responsible development to ensure all Utahns can find a place to call home.
